New Zealand Certificate of Financial Services Level 4 - For staff not providing advice but involved in the Financial Services Industry the is suitable to provide an introduction into the regulatory environment.There are 2 strands - the Banking Strand, and the Insurance Strand.
New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services Level 5 - Contains a core module with a choice of elective modules in order to satisfy the wider financial advice industry. For Advisers looking to achieve Authorised Financial Adviser status the benchmark is the full qualification including the financial advice strand, as well as the strand appropriate to the advice being given. If providing personalised advice for category 1 products the investment advise strand of the qualification is required.
For Registered Financial Advisers the recommendation is to complete the core knowledge module, plus the appropriate strand.
Structured CPD points are offered on completion of all PIQ learning material, including the NZQA Qualifications.
