This Mortgage Lending for New Advisers Course is a five-day course which can be completed as part of working toward the New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services. Professional IQ College have arranged the course in conjunction with PAA. Professional IQ College will provide members with course training and assessment of the NZQA accredited Mortgage strand of the New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services. PAA will provide additional specific training for one day on business and specialist lending, and one day on business development management.
Advisers can attain the Mortgage Advice Module of the New Zealand Certificate during the five-day course.
The practical format prepares advisers for their regulatory requirements; how to work with lenders; meeting client needs and the practicalities of running a mortgage advice business. The course also incorporates feedback from the industry and has received strong support from both adviser dealer groups and lenders.
Please note that as well as completing group work during the course, advisers will be required to complete assignments after the course to receive the Mortgage Advice Module Certificate.
These assignments will be assessed by Professional IQ College to meet the NZQA standards.
