Creating an environment for a good negotiation can be difficult in normal circumstances but when you add emotional people to the equation it becomes very difficult.

There are many effects of emotions in negotiation.  Put simply emotions in negotiation impeded the effective flow of two-way communication – an essential part of any successful negotiation.

Emotions come in various forms and in recent time we seen many different emotions, in particular during a claim process.

In this session the attendees will learn:

How emotions manifest and the warning signs
The effect of emotions on a negotiation
How to deal with emotional people
How to minimise the negative impact on a negotiation
How to maximise the positive effect on a negotiation
