The full name of this workshop is, Professional Indemnity and Other Liability Issues for Contractors and Subcontractors.  It is an intermediate level workshop for all insurance brokers (and support brokers) with three to five years or more experience in the insurance profession, especially anyone whose clients are often subcontractors.

Covering some of the specific issues relating to businesses in the construction industry, the workshop looks at a wide range of contractor liability issues including:

  • Core essential “insurance vs contract” issues
  • Professional indemnity and liability issues and how standard insurance policies respond,
  • What and where are the boundaries of liability consequential loss, and
  • How to recognise common pit falls of contractual liability.

  • Exposures for trades in the construction industry.
