Event Detail

Sustainability is increasingly important for the finance sector, as well as other sectors in the New Zealand economy. Management of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) factors in investment have become good practice internationally. Sustainability is important to customers, corporates, investors, government regulators, and the broader public.

This seminar will focus on retail investing, including why invest ethically, investment approaches, consumer demand and the issues that New Zealanders are most concerned about, using annual survey data. It will include evidence about comparative risk and return. The seminar will show how investment advisers and others can learn more about ethical investing and the composition of portfolios for KiwiSaver and managed retail funds.
