The
information contained within this Learning unit is specific to the
additional evidence and outcomes in the new General Insurance component of
the New Zealand Certificate of Financial Services.
This module will provide you with additional knowledge over and above
the previous National Certificate in Financial Services Level 5.
Completion of this module will provide evidence to the FMA that you are proactive in updating your knowledge.
On completion you can also Enrol and apply for recognition of prior learning of your previous NCFSL5 qualification or other similar industry qualification for accreditation of the New NZ certificate.
The General Insurance Bridging module includes additional information to allow for accreditation of the following unit standards.

28368 - General Risk Insurance Legislation Regulations & Codes of Practice
28369 - General Risk Insurance Products
28370 - General Insurance Product Application and Review Process
Assessment for this bridging programme is comprised of an online
multi choice exam of 29 questions. To successfully complete this part of
the assessment, you will need to achieve 80% percent overall. A discussion with the tutor will be required in respect of any incorrectly answered questions.
In addition to the multi choice exam, you are also required to
provide some short answers. This requires you to have your supervisor or other
appropriate person to verify that the work submitted is your own.
