Event Detail

The role of an adviser is fundamental to make sure a client discloses everything an insurer needs to know when a life, health or trauma policy begins.  Even then, there is a risk not everything has been disclosed and an insurer could avoid the policy when a claim is made.  Having a documented sales process - your advice and how you sell products - is vital to enable you to support your position in the event of an issue arising at later date.  In this webinar, we will look at complaints to the IFSO Scheme, where non-disclosure is the central issue.  Karen Stevens, Ombudsman, will take you through cases to the IFSO Scheme and discuss what to look out for and how you can minimise your risk.
