For any professional mortgage broker the quality of the mortgage application is important in providing an efficient and effective service to your clients. This course is primarily for those with some experience in residential property lending and the applicable law and the regulations.  For beginners to the mortgage industry we recommend the PAA 5 day "Mortgage Lending for New Advisers" course.  This course focuses on practical application of your skills & knowledge using case studies to complete quality loan applications.

Through attendance at this workshop you will gain skills and knowledge to understand the lending principles and how to apply them effectively to a given situation. Apply your home loan product knowledge and the lending principles to gain the skills to complete the application process in a timely, compliant and efficient manner. This workshop allows you to work in groups or on individual case studies to enable you to grow your professionalism.

Pre Reading Required: Knowledge of the relevant Legislation and Regulations will be required. Some knowledge of home loan products is preferable also. This will be in your study guides that you will be able to access on completion of the enrolment.

On completion of the course you will be able to sit the assessment for the residential property lending unit standards applicable to the New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services ; your first step in completing the NZ Certificate level 5.

The Professional IQ Practical Mortgage Broker 2 day workshop is flexible and contains the most relevant and up to date information to enable you to be accredited with the new unit standards.
