Australian Bridging Course

Professional IQ has developed a dedicated bridging solution that, combined with your Australian qualifications, allows you to provide regulated financial advice in New Zealand through a registered Financial Advice Provider (FAP).  

The Australian Bridging Course contains one unit standard. This unit standard is NZQA accredited and relates to the New Zealand regulatory framework in a financial advice context. It focuses on interpreting and explaining provisions in the regulatory framework. 

As a financial adviser with approved Australian qualifications, the Australian Bridging Course will complete your pathway to meet the qualification requirements set out in Code Standards 6-8 of the Code of Professional Conduct for Financial Advice Services.  

On completion of the unit standard, Professional IQ will certify that you have achieved the Australian Bridging Course only. We do not sight or certify the completion of your Australian qualifications — you are responsible for ensuring you hold the required Australian qualifications and training.
